A native of Redon from a farming family, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Blin first worked in industry before turning to\nphotography. This personal journey has had a profound influence on his artistic vision.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Passage<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2002, he produced \u201cPassage\u201d, an intimate series devoted to his parents, farmers in the Vend\u00e9e region,\non the eve of their retirement. Through black-and-white photographs, he captures gestures, glances and\nexchanges on the family farm.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

L\u2019entretemps\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In this vein, Blin developed the \u201cL'entretemps\u201d series in 2016. In it, he questions the suspension of time,\nstaging ordinary moments. Refusing the posture of reportage, he strives to bring out the silent beauty of\nthese suspended moments.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Voyage ordinaire\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

That same year, 2016, he also produced \u201cVoyage ordinaire\u201d, a work focusing on the nocturnal journeys of\nworkers with staggered working hours, in the city of Saint-Nazaire. Slipping into their skin, Blin\n\nphotographs familiar places between wakefulness and sleep. The images reveal a diffuse solitude,\ntransforming these daily commutes into a form of mental cartography.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

La promesse\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2022, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Blin returns to rural themes and questions of identity with \u201cLa promesse\u201d, created as part\nof the \u201cRuralit\u00e9(s)\u201d residency at the Festival Photo La Gacilly. In it, he explores the dilemmas of young\nBreton people living in rural areas, torn between rootedness and exile. Pablo Picasso, C\u00e9ret Ouvert du mardi au samedi de 10h \u00e0 13h et de 15h \u00e0 19h J\u00e9r\u00f4me Blin Originaire de Redon et issu d\u2019une famille paysanne, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Blin a d\u2019abord travaill\u00e9 dans l\u2019industrie avant de se tourner vers la photographie. Ce parcours personnel impr\u00e8gne profond\u00e9ment son regard artistique.\u00a0 Passage En 2002, il r\u00e9alise \u00abPassage\u00bb, une s\u00e9rie intime consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 ses parents, agriculteurs en Vend\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019aube de leur retraite. \u00c0 travers des photographies en noir et blanc, il capte les gestes, les regards et les \u00e9changes sur la ferme familiale.\u00a0 L\u2019entretemps Dans cette continuit\u00e9, Blin d\u00e9veloppe en 2016 la s\u00e9rie \u00abL\u2019entretemps\u00bb. Il y interroge la suspension du temps, mettant en sc\u00e8ne des instants ordinaires. Refusant la posture du reportage, il s\u2019attache \u00e0 faire \u00e9merger la beaut\u00e9 silencieuse de ces moments en suspens.\u00a0 Voyage ordinaire Cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e 2016, il r\u00e9alise \u00e9galement \u00abVoyage ordinaire\u00bb, un travail centr\u00e9 sur les trajets nocturnes des travailleurs aux horaires d\u00e9cal\u00e9s, dans la ville de Saint-Nazaire. En se glissant dans leur peau, Blin photographie des lieux familiers entre veille et sommeil. Les images r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une solitude diffuse, transformant ces d\u00e9placements quotidiens en une forme de cartographie mentale.\u00a0 La promesse En 2022, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Blin revient aux th\u00e9matiques rurales et aux questionnements identitaires avec \u00abLa promesse\u00bb, cr\u00e9\u00e9e dans le cadre de la r\u00e9sidence \u00abRuralit\u00e9(s)\u00bb du Festival Photo La Gacilly. Il y explore les dilemmes des jeunes bretons vivant en milieu rural, partag\u00e9s entre l\u2019enracinement et l\u2019exil.
